Venue List

On your Big Day, you shouldn’t have to worry about anything.

So please use this checklist to make sure you’ve got everthing covered and leave the rest up to Sukhadia’s!

1.
Set a Budget

Understand the components that make up your catering cost. Your primary consideration includes how many events, guests, and types of food and services you would like.

2.
Decide on a Style and Type of Food

Do you have a particular style of food in mind? Is it traditional, eclectic, simple, elegant, or modern? Letting your caterer know this will be helpful for both parties when it comes to fine-tuning the details of your events.

3.
Live Stations

Live Stations provide live cooking with freshly prepared ingredients, to create the perfect talking point for any affair. Ask your caterer for live station choices to add a special touch to your event.

4.
Check caterer's availability on wedding date
5.
Insurance

Ensure your caterer is insured and can provide their certificate of insurance (COI) to your venue. Insurance up to $2M is always safe!

6.
Understand Contract and Deposit Terms

Plan your timeline for payments and confirmation of guest count, etc.

7.
Prepare a RFP

An RFP is a request for proposal. Make sure to send your RFP to multiple caterers and include all relevant details.

Things to include in your RFP:

  • Number of Events
  • Date for Each Event
  • Number of Guests for Each Event
  • Location and Name of the Venue for the Events
  • Venue Contact Information
  • Menu Ideas
  • Must-Have’s from you and your Family
8.
Ask the caterer for sample menus
9.
Ask the caterer which services and equipment are included in their quote
10.
Plan a Menu Tasting

Schedule a taste testing soon after booking your caterer and establishing your menu. Not only will this help you confirm that the food is amazing, it helps the caterer become more attuned to your personal style!
